Live at the Smokehouse is back for Round 2 and this time we’re in a new location.

We’re excited to be bringing Live at the Smokehouse to The Regal Inn Tenambit, Maitland.

The event runs for over 12 hours, with our free day entry pass from 10am – 2pm

& then our ticketed main event kicking off from 3pm ‘til 12am.

Featuring Brad Cox live on stage alongside some of Australia’s best Pitmasters cooking everyone’s favourite ‘low and slow’ style barbecue.

Brad earned wide scale recognition in 2018 with his self-titled debut album that yielded the singles, ‘Red Light,’ ‘Too Drunk to Drive’ and ‘Lake House,’ as well as the anthemic crowd favourite ‘Water On The Ground’ which has notched up over 550,000 Facebook views and growing (watch here). The album earned the Jindabyne native two Golden Guitar nominations for Contemporary Album of the Year and New Talent of the Year. Cox also won the 39th Toyota Star Maker award and became the name on country music lovers lips around the country. Since taking out the Toyota Star Maker title in 2018, Brad Cox has worked quickly to make a name for himself in the Australian country music scene. He has opened shows for Brett Eldredge, Jon Pardi, Randy Houser, Adam Eckersley and Brooke McClymont. Looking back, if 2018 was the year of the long march for the young man from Jindabyne, then 2019 is the year of the great leap forward. Signed to Sony Music Australia, Brad released 2 new singles ‘Rusty Strings’, and ‘Give Me Tonight’, which saw him play his biggest headline shows to date. Checkout a recap of the shows here. In 2020, Brad earned two further Golden Guitar nominations for his single ‘Rusty Strings’ (Apra Amcos Song Of The Year and Apple Music Single Of The Year). His previous release ‘Give Me Tonight’ earned widespread recognition with adds to Spotify playlists (Fresh Country, Australian Viral 50, Next From Nashville), Apple Playlists (Today’s Country, Breaking Country, Aussie Coun-try) and Triple M (Metro, Regional, Country). To date, the track has amassed over 2.7 million global streams. Hailing from the country town of Jindabyne, Brad’s career has taken him all the way to the country music capital of the world, Nashville Tennessee, to work with some of the city’s finest writers and producers. ‘Drinking Season’, written by Brad and Dan Isbell (Luke Combs), Makes these long-haul flights worth it. A high energy sound of layered electric guitars buoyed by the warm and charis-matic vocals of Brad. Brad’s sophomore album My Mind’s Projection (Sony Music Australia) was released in November 2020. The album included recent singles ‘Give Me Tonight’, ‘Drinking Season’ and ‘Short Lived Love’. Described as a snapshot of Brad’s life over the last 3 years, the album has been Brad’s most successful to date, debuting at #1 ARIA Australian Country Album Charts, and #12 ARIA Album Chart.
