ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Live at the Smokehouse goes over 4 hours and features live bands on stage, with some of Australia’s best pitmasters cooking ‘low and slow’ style barbecue,.

ASH GRUNWALD

Ash Grunwald is an Australian blues musician. He has released nine studio albums and has received five nominations for ARIA Music Awards. Five albums have peaked in the ARIA Albums Chart top 50; Fish out of Water (2008), Hot Mama Vibes (2010), Trouble’s Door (2012), Gargantua (2013) and Mojo (2019).

BRAD COX

Ripped feet first from the belly of the Kosciuszko Mountains, stubby in hand. Baptised in the freezing head waters of the Snowy River, Brad Cox! Brace yourself. Songs full of heart and maturity well beyond his years. A sound which can induce hypnosis and coma. You may require medical attention after hearing Brad’s music, but no rehab will ever cure you of the addiction.

CHRIS ROSE

Chris Rose’s distinctive voice and natural talent for song writing are the key to his craft. Hailing from the seaside town of Port Macquarie in NSW, Chris has been singing since he can remember and has always been creative. Now 29, he’s had a wealth of experience performing live solo and with his band. 

PAM HATA

Independent singer songwriter PAM HATA hails from the land of the long white cloud now residing in Port Macquarie , her soulful renditions of songs from yesterday and today have held crowds captivatied up and down the east coast of Austraila for the past 5 years. Pam has played fesitval stages consistently along side some of Australias premier folk blues and roots acts.

Pitmasters

Adam Roberts

He is one of the founders of the Australasian Barbecue Alliance that focuses on the art of Low ‘N’ Slow cooking. Adam is the resident pitmaster at Cue Deli and is the author of Ribs and Sides, the Bronze winner of the BBQ book of the year. Adam Roberts regularly competes against the best barbecue teams and has a trophy cabinet to prove his talent.

Robert Thraves

Robert loves to cook meat low and slow for hours and hours in his homemade custom built Texas offset smoker. Rob’s style of BBQ is Texas with a bit of Aussie touch, you’ll find him cooking meat all night at the perfect temperature with his own unique blend of spices to ensure tender juicy and tasty meat.

Andrew donn patterson

Black Iron Smokers BBQ style is based in the traditional TEXAN style Brisket , Beef Rib and Carolina style Pulled pork along with Pork ribs and Hot links from time to time. Much inspiration was taken from David Klose of Klose BBQ pits in Huston Texas who Andrew met in early 2015. Who”s theory is . Its Fire smoke meat and time… dont over think it…..
